I love a princess party as much as the next girl, but sometimes it can be hard to find the ideas and inspiration for girls' parties that don't involve a princess, ballerina or fairy! Here are 5 ideas that are so beautiful and exciting you'll be counting down the days to your daughter's next party in anticipation!
1. Miss Dior Party
Chanel parties are a dime a dozen, but when did you last see a Dior themed party? This gorgeous party comes from my all-time styling idols, the girls at Styled By Coco.
I love that they've used the signature Dior grey (Christian Dior's favourite colour). And all those flowers are heaven!
But the best thing about this theme is that the sky is the limit in terms of a colour palette. So choose four or five of your favourite pastel colours and have fun!
2. Boho Chic Party
Celebrate your free spirit by throwing her a chic boho party! There are so many ways to interpret this theme. You could play up the natural aspects through greenery like Beijos Events has here.
Or you could do something beach-y in beautiful pastel pinks like Donna Hay did.
3. Summer Fruits
Is your little girl a summer baby? Celebrate her birth and summer by using beautiful fruits as your theme.
This party is by the queen of Australian styling, Samantha from Dunne with Style.
4. Picnic Party
I am a sucker for the romance of a picnic and you will be to once you see these beautiful images from Kara Allen.
This theme suits a little girl's party perfectly and is certain to enchant the adult guests as well. The same can't necessarily be said for a Frozen theme!
5. Bakery Party
Ok, ok, I know it has been done almost as often as a princess or fairy party but... There are so many ways to do this theme and in my experience as a party and events planner, this theme is always a success. There is just something about getting kids to create something with their own two hands that is both exciting to experience and magical to watch
This first party is from One Charming Party and is a beautiful example of how to put your own spin on an old favourite.
And finally, here is my take on a girl's bakery themed party. See the full gallery for more ideas.
Happy party planning!
